Clients interested in developing space needs projections to plan for future growth and change
of their facilities often require programming and planning services. We provide these services either independently or
as subconsultants. These services may include any or all of the following:
- Survey and assessment of existing facilities to determine space utilization requirements for relocation to
new facilities, remodels to existing spaces, expansions and reorganizations.
- Development of program documents. These are written narratives outlining anticipated organizational developments
and identifying current and future space needs and square foot space requirements for all functional areas. The program is
an effective way for a company to communicate its current needs and long range planning goals to staff and management,
developers, design professionals and financial institutions.
- Development of Planning Diagrams for functional space allocations and adjacencies, work and traffic flow to
graphically illustrate the programming data. These diagrams are usually developed as generic planning illustrations and
eventually interpreted into actual building floorplans as part of the design process.
