Seattle Public Library
Delridge Branch, New Construction
The Delridge Library is one of the first library branches to be completed under the
Libraries For All bond issue. It is co-located with 19 units of affordable housing above the 5,600 square
foot library. The housing units, called Vivian McLean Place Apartments, occupy two floors with a separate
entry and covered parking for the tenants. The library was developed in partnership with the Delridge
Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA). It has a collection of 20,000 books and materials, reading
and study areas, special areas for children and youg adults, a meeting room and computer workstations.
