Burien Branch
Initially part of a major Survey & Assessment project, the Burien Library was identified as requiring
both renovation and expansion to service the local community. Services provided by Design Perspectives for this project
included programming, space planning, interior design, furnishings and equipment selection to renovate this older 15,000
SF Public Library and expand it to a 20,000 SF Resource Library. This branch houses a special Northwest Collection which
is featured in the new design. Architects for the project were Olson/Sundberg.
